Captain:

Your post has prompted me to give this matter some serious thought, and I may have found ten uses for an unloaded gun:

10. Book End;
9.  Doorstop;
8.  Paper Weight;
7.  Tack Hammer;
6.  Fishing Sinker;
5.  Dinghy Anchor;
4.  Theater Prop;
3.  Rearview-mirror Dangle;
2.  Basic Club;

and the number one use for an unloaded gun:

1.  Codpiece.

 ;)

From seeing his portraits, I'll bet Henry VIII would have approved.   ;)

And, Rick, I once tried a SmartCarry but forgot I was wearing it, bent over, and almost inflicted permanent damage to  . . . oh, well, you know.   ;D

I am new to this forum... but not to CCW

and I always carry with a round chambered.

The manual was probably proofed by NY lawyers, for liability reasons.

If you cannot trust your pistol with a round chambered, buy a different pistol, because you will not have the time to chamber a round and live to tell about it, in many situations... IMHO
