Yep!  When I ordered my first Rohrbaugh, our gun shop had never heard of such a thing; kept saying what, how do you spell that, how do you say that again?  By the time the second one came in, he had it down pat.   :)

Thanks for all of your help and advice.  After all of your feedback I have decided to go with my gut.  I will be mailing Tom a check on Monday to secure my first Rohrbaugh.  I am going with a new Robar R9S and I can't wait.  Seems like a great piece. Thanks for your help Tom!!

cadillacguy,
Good choice, actually two good choices, a new R9 and getting it from Tom.

Great choice, cadillacguy76.  I'm sure, from what I've read, the Robar will be great; excellent finish inside and out; silky smooth!   Enjoy!

Yep, Discontinued.
Buy a standard model and send it to Robar, thats what I did and couldn't be happier with the results.

This is another chapter in a long book that says if you see something you like put in an order because it won't be there long. This is not planned obsolescence but it has created collector interest in some discontinued models where some discovered later that they had missed an opportunity such as Farmingdales, blue grips, no "R" prefix, etc.
