Title: New R9s and 1st range trip
Post by: spd707 on February 15, 2010, 01:24:24 AM
I took my new R9s to the range yesterday.  I fired the following types of ammunition:

Winchester White Box 124gr. FMJ
Speer Lawman 124gr. TMJ
Range Safe Ammo (made in Czech Republic) 115gr. FMJ
Federal Hydra-Shok 147gr.

All ammo functioned flawlessly.  Unfortunately, I went to an outdoor range with very deep snow and the target wouldn't stay up.  So I didn't shoot for accuracy.  I just wanted to put a few rounds through the pistol to start the break in process.

spd.  Good to hear of the excellent results.  Thanks for sharing.  Very diligent to do this in this in the snow.  Thanks again.

Thank you for the good range report. Subject to correction, I think that's the first report on Range Safe ammo posted to the Forum.

spd.  Congratulations, also, on getting the new R9s.  Enjoy.
