Army /Navy
« on: November 07, 2005, 05:22:57 AM »
Well, the annual Army / Navy game is Saturday December 3rd and this year Army is 2 W 6L. I lose Money every year on this game. Used to be $ 5.00 to my Dad who was in the Navy during WWII, Now to my best friend. WE would sit in my den wearing our Army -Navy sweats and smoke cigars, and have a grand old time. I would take a years worth of good natured ribbing until it was time to do it again. It's not the money, it's just that we never win. I'm so embarrassed.
Chris, Tom, Richard and some of the other Army brothers out there, we need to pull together and cheer on the Black Knights! The Long Grey Line is counting on us. Many of us learned our shooting skills in the Army. We at least owe our Alma Mata a little loyalty. ( if they would just let us use guns!)
GO ARMY BEAT NAVY.

Mike:

I'll be in front of my television, wearing my Army sweatshirt, and cheering on the Black Knights.  The record now stands at 49 victories each.  ARMY WILL BE THE FIRST TO 50!

You guys are PATHETIC!!   ;D  ;D  It's going to take a whole lot of Army to even think about beating the Navy, but you can keep hoping.  ;D  ;D

Tom:

Mike appears to have missed roll call this morning.  He's probably out there somewhere "behind enemy lines" and will check in when he completes his mission.   ;)
