Several threads have taken a nasty turn lately. I don't have the patience for this crap anymore. I don't always read the forum every day, and the volume of posts is such that I shouldn't have to... But I'm going to just start deleting threads that go wrong, and people with multiple warnings will just get banned.
I have no time for policing this crap in 2018. You are presumably grown mature adults. If you cannot comply with the very basic "no insults or personal attacks" rule, or the "behave as if you were in a guest in my house meeting my friends" rule -- then you are either not qualified to be a part of this community, or you are intentionally provoking me as a troll.
Enough said. I'm serious. No further warnings or debates.
Happy New Year,

Thank you.

Happy New Year to you too Duane.

Yes, Happy New Year Duane
-
Thanks. I hope it applies to EVERYONE.

It most assuredly applies to everyone and if the shoe fits, wear it.
-
Yes, Happy New year, and thanks. ;)
Sorry to start off the year on a sour note -- but the fact of the Holiday Season only increased my ire. I'm better now.
And yes, EVERYONE.

I joined this forum years ago because R9 owners seemed to be just a little more like gentlemen and ladies. Despite our differences, we respect and appreciate quality and craftsmanship. One can not imagine how many revolvers and pistol have been made that are available to purchase (current production and past), but we have all chosen the R9 at some point because we respect quality. We exist here to learn, preserve history of this great gun and keep the Rohrbaugh prominent in pocket sized guns. I'm sure we're going to return to the respectful disagreements, agreements and fun discussions that I've learned to enjoy and learn from reading.
May 2018 bring us all we need and much of what we want!

Here here! . . . . . . . . Thank You and well said Buffalo.

I had to enforce this policy. I remain serious. Thanks to all who participate and desire a friendly forum.
Carry on!

Good call!
Thanks you.

Thank you Duane.
Hey, while we have you... several years ago many of us regulars contributed towards hosting and upgrade costs for what I believe was the next three years at the time. I believe your renewals will be up this spring/early summer, if I recall correctly, and I know you may be bashful to ask, so I'm going to ask and volunteer at least on my behalf. Can we pitch in towards hosting and any upgrade costs again? I know this is a little off topic, so please feel free to start a new thread and move or quote this post. Thank you for your time and consideration!

Thanks for asking. Our expenses are relatively low on an ongoing basis, assuming that we have no issues with the forum software. The hosting costs are in the neighborhood of $50 per year if I recall, which includes the domain registration fees. The next three years will be roughly $150 if things keep puttering along.
I certainly could accept donations to reach that number, but wouldn't need much more than that. Any excess will go into a beer fund. Large excesses will go into a tequila fund! ;)
Anyone can PayPal me at duane@daiker.net or PM me for an address to send a check. Annual renewal time is May I think.
Thanks!

I think I will move this to another thread... Thanks!
