I didn't realize they came in .40 S&W, too.

I have a bunch of .45 auto rounds, but no .45 pistol.  As soon as I get rich, I may get the HK Compact .45 if it is suitable for smaller hands.

Thanks guys,  it was a rare opportunity to obtain a scare pistol.  I'm told only 4000 P7M10s were produced.  Of those, 1000 were blue (the rest electroless nickel).  So, to find a NIB unfired blue M10 was a dream.  Through the generosity of a member on www.parkcitiestactical.com who had two of these, I was offered this one for purchase.  Though pricey, I couldn't pass it up.

BTW, Cuteo -- I seem to remember that I have an extra P7M8 Jubilee in the safe -- and available for sale -- so I can buy one of RJ's BBQ pistols...(the Grimm Reaper).  It is NIB with all of the goodies.  If you are intertested, I can send you photos.

You know everytime I see one of those HKs I get this itch, and those photos just made it worse.

Yeah, I know what you mean...my "itch" has grown into something chronic.

The same seller offered me an opportunity to buy an additional P7M10 "shooter" at a fair price.  Well, I couldn't resist (sorry RJ, the Grim Reaper will have to wait a bit).

Although in a condition I would consider appropriate for a collector, I did decide to shoot this beast.  It has to be the mildest shooting, most accurate .40 S&W pistol that I own.  It has become my favorite shooter over my PSPs, P7M8s, and P7M13.

It will definitely be going with me to Randy Cain's course in Lakeland.  Finding leather for it was difficult.  Mitch Rosen does still make holsters for this long discontinued model, but he was the only holster maker I could find (other than Blade Tech) -- so he got the order for a holster, belt, and combo mag/light holder.

Just a great combo. I can't take my eye off either of them.
Smart move to keep the keeper in the safe, and shoot the second one.

I did get leather from Sparks, but of course that was for the P7M8.
M.Rosen designed his with a little longer tab on it to offset the top heavy design of the HK...I think.

FYI, Teddy Jacobson, "the well known but controversial"
gunsmith says that the P7 is the best 9mm on the planet.
He is a friend of mine and his trigger work is second to none.

Yes, I'd agree with Teddy.  The PSP is my preferred CCW in a belt rig -- accompanied of course by an R9S in the pocket...

That "itch" you all describe must be contagious.  I've never owned an HK, but after viewing these photographs and reading these comments I seem to be coming down with it.

I'd be willing to bet dinner that anyone with basic shooting skills to shoot poorer with a P7 compared to any other self defense pistol they own.

If you're ever in my neck of the woods, look me up -- we'll pack up the P7s and head to the range.

I'll try to gather the complete "family' of my P7s together for a group photo in the near future.
