I picked up three boxes tonight at Hoffman's in Newington, CT.
I just gave one box to my friend.
I could not find one round of .380 Hydra shoks in Las Vegas!

CCW.  Thanks.  Now that we'll back in NC, placed an order for these;  and the .380 goes back to the factory, maybe today.    :(

Sucks when they have to go back for repair when there brand new.  :'(
And the big thing now that annoys me with many of the manufacturers, is the " Break In Period " I liked it much better when you purchased a gun and it worked as it should right out of the box.

This .380 is the one I got from Phil, and he at one point said 10 rds fired; so as new.  I still have 2 new in the box, not fired, except factory, and they will stay that way.

It is disheartening to have that happen, but it'll be as new once again, when it returns home.

Wouldn't you know!  The Hydra Shok .380's came today, the same same day the SC .380 went back to the factory.    :(

Please refresh my memory, why did the LWS 380 have to go back to the factory?
I know that I stated this before about a pistol going back for a tune-up. I believe they come back a little better than the next one.
There will be a little more attention to detail with it and just a little closer look at it.
However in a small facility, or I should say in a factory that does not mass produce it's product, much more time is spent on each individual piece.
Unless there was some catastrophic failure, I would almost always say there is an issue with the ammunition.

The comforting thought you should have is the fact that your LWS did go back to the factory and the man that knows the most about them will fix it.

Low manufacturing volume, each individual LWS is touched by Mr. Seecamp, every piece looked over and each LWS test fired with a minimum of three magazines of ammunition. How does something sneak by? It is mechanical after all.

The Seecamp .380's hammer locked back and would not budge.  Called Larry and he immediately seemed to know what the problem was.  I was impressed, for sure.

Got a postcard from the Company, mailed the same day they received the gun, saying "We will do our best to expedite its return to you."

hank you for the reminder. Yeah, the hammer being held back.
Well, that's not an ammunition issue.

It'll be interesting to know what the problem was.

It has happened in the past, it will not happen to yours once fixed.

I need to go back and read how many rounds you had through it before the problem.
It has nothing to do with the round count, just curious how many rounds.
