Thanksgiving
« on: November 23, 2005, 03:57:44 PM »
I want to take this opportunity to wish all of my friends on this extraordinary Forum a most happy Thanksgiving holiday.

My wife and I truly have much for which to be thankful this year.  We wish all of you and your loved ones the very best.

My mother was taken to the hospital a week ago and we discovered that she had cancer.  I told her the story of your wife and she found it a little comforting.  Thanks for sharing.

Dave:

The recent advances in treatment offer a level of realistic hope for cancer patients which was not available in past years.  Your mother will be in our prayers.

Richard - thank you Sir and right back at you:)

Plus the exact same to all my friends here - may we all pause to give thanks for so much.

Problems we all have that's for sure but - let's look on the bright side and celebrate what we do have and enjoy - blessings abound when we really look.  I give thanks every time I wake to a new day. ;)
