Quickie Range Report
« on: December 11, 2006, 12:39:57 PM »
I took my R9s back to the range yesterday to run some more rounds thru it. I shot (45) Winchester White Box 115gr PD rounds and (15) Fed Hydra Shok 124gr rounds. Had one feed failure (Winchester) but 99% sure it was me lettin the gun go. 50-60 rounds is about all I can shoot without a break. My accuracy was ok. I generally shoot paper plates and shot ok with aimed as well as point shooting.  All in all I'm pumped about the little gun. Rides in my pocket good. Full power. Definitely loosened up and runs better after the 110 or so rounds Saturday and Sunday and then a good cleaning and relube. Haven't replaced the recoil spring yet. Are yall doing it at 100 rounds or squeezin some extras out? Glad I found the forum.

Joe,

My personal recomendation is a new recoil spring every 100 rds.
