The auction.  Ahh.  We will be waiting, whether to partisipate or to observe; we will be here.   YES!    ;)

I've been wondering if the paper towel print pup was going to faid away with time.  It seems to be trying.

Its still there...in the safe awaiting its purpose in life.

I will take some of the blame for bringing it up before the details were totally worked out.  I should know better.  Little did I know this thing would take on a life of its own...

Duane,
It goes beyond your posting it when you did, we all did a good job of hyping it and ourselves up. ;D

But it was a lot of fun.

Well, my wife may be bidding on it.  I just showed her the pics and she loves the "paper towel print" on the grips. lol

Truth be known, I would love to have those grips but not at the price I think the gun will auction for.   SO, if one of you guys wants to buy that gun and sell me the grips..........  :o

When I had orginally accessed the "value" and desire to have those one off grips I had in my mind that nothing existed any thing like them.  A set very similar just surfaced so I am retracting my offer.  I dont think I "need" them anymore.  I'm not saying there not cool because they are, I just dont want them anymore.

No offense but that grip pattern looks like dissipated rattlesnake skin.

I like 'em, but then people have been telling me for years that I should get a grip.        Gene
