Not very much chance of that. It's molded pretty well to the gun and even tightens down on it a bit when I cinch in my belt.
In addition, if you look closely, you'll see a little round impression in the trigger guard outline. That's an added "lock-down" bump that goes through to the interior and kind of snaps the trigger guard into place.
I
would however, share your concern if I were trying to use the same design for something like a full-size Glock with most of its weight in the magazine.
