Personally I don't put much faith in those things, unless they are properly done.  Too many variables to deal with.  What type of bullets used?  Are they as consistent in design as possible?  i.e. all hollow points similarly made, similar materials.  Velocity?  Medium used to catch and measure the holes used?  Was a bias used to get desired results?

If I were trying to prove that my favorite handgun round would beat your favorite handgun round, pretty sure I could tailor the results to fit my side of the debate.
