Title: New Rohrbaugh Owner
Post by: ccriner on January 31, 2009, 03:46:05 PM
I just purchased a new Rohrbaugh and I'm having some problems with various cartridges failing to fire when struck by the firing pin. Pull the trigger.....nothing. However if I take the round out put it back in it will discharge. Could I be having an issue with the hammer/firing pin not striking the primers hard enough? This has happened with multiple brands of ammo. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you read the ammo threads here?

Rohrbaughs are ammo sensitive. Mine devours 115 Gold Dots and 115 WWB.

Mine is an older Farmingdale model and also likes Gold Dots.  Winchester Silvertip 115gr has been perfect and is my current carry round.
