Rohrbaugh Range Reports / Re: An overdue range trip
« Last post by ECR on Today at 07:20:32 AM »Wow, backupr9!
That's great! I'm not sure if you know I made R4700 for a very good friend of mine back in the day. Unfortunately, his adopted son developed autism at an early age and had a tough go during elementary schooling. His father had a good head on his shoulders and stuck up for him in school as he knew and understood his son's rights. The principal and heads of the district were not his friends because he knew the local laws. His son mentioned the word gun in school one day. That's all it took. They had his firearms license revoked and had to sell off his collection, R4700 included. That was a decade ago. Glad to hear that ole' 4700 is still kicking it! My friend will be pleased to hear this little story about that special R9 I built for him back in the day is still a keeper.
It would be great if he moved out of state one day and would be able to get his rights back and, perhaps, be able to acquire 4700 once again. Ya never know my friend. Things happen in life. Good shooting there Sir! Carry on now. . . . .
