Just for fun, I bought a new Triumph Bonneville T100 110 year anniversary model. They only made 1000 of this model marking their 110 years of Triumph Motorcycles. Go to www.irishguardfirearmsltd.com and click on the picture of the bike. Tom

Beautiful bike Tom!
Good luck and enjoy riding it. :)

Way to go, Tom! That is what my little wife would call "one magnificent man toy."

That is a beautiful bike, but I think it is for sale on Tom's website.

And that poses a dilemma for me. Joyce and I had been discussing getting a motorcycle, but we couldn't agree on who had to "ride the bar." ;) (Two "Type-A personalities" on the same bike? :o )

May I suggest "his" and "hers" for continuing longevity and peaceful coexistence?

Good advice. I'll work on Triumphs, Harleys, or BMWs . . . just no Honda "Gold Wings." (This retirement thing could get expensive.)

Very nice ride. ;D

Triumphs were what I drove in the 50s and 60s. They only made a 1000 world wide with 250 coming to the US and 50 going to Canada. The bike is for sale to make money for MDA or if I die first the bike will be given to MDA Dallas for their fund raising drive to help fund ALS research. Hopefully it will bring a large sum of money. I do wish however that I could still ride it. In the mean time I can drink a single malt and look at it parked at end of my bar with good memories. ;D Tom

Tom:
I'm lifting a single malt in your honor. Here's to your health -- and here's to good memories of the open road, the wind in your face, and the sound and fury of a Triumph at full throttle between your legs.
Sláinte!

Another special hoist to you, Tom, and all you have touched on this forum.

Tom, of the Irish Guard, here's a special toast to you, a very special person, indeed;
