One would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful example of barrel crowning than is shown in that last photograph!

I lean toward Wilson.

I find the 25LPI checkering on the NightHawk to be too aggressive (without gloves) and prefer the Wilson 30LPI.

Same goes for the stock  T3 grips too aggressive.

I'd rate the triggers 99 Wilson, 98 NH, 96 Ed Brown, 95 Les Baer--

( i have fired several of all 4 manufactures)

The thing i like about Wilson besides the warranty is the flexibility of ordering pretty much exactly what you want in terms of bells and whistles and their customer service.

I ended up going with a Nighthawk T3. It has a Hard Chrome Slide, 3 1/2 Trigger pull, Diamond Black Frame.
Nighthawk still handfits all of it's parts on the 1911's some other companies CNC thier pieces to extremely tight tolerances but do not hand fit all the pieces. They do this for speed. Still makes an excellant gun, I just prefer the hand fitted matched pieces. Nighthawk will also build the gun anyway you wish and thier customer service is rated #1. (Knife is Compliments of NRA)

Chief.  Once again, a very nice T3.  Always good to see.    :)

Thanks, I got to take the T3 out to the range the other Day, ran great, now my dilemma is which .45 to carry.
The Talon II has lightweight frame and bobtail, T3 has shorter grip and an almost indestructable finish... Plus it is downright "purdy"  ;D .  I like the lightweight framed Talon for carrying, but when firing at the range a steel frame would be better after about 50 rounds. Usually I end up heading for the Full sized Stainless Predator for busting alot of steels. (It is also my wifes favorite .45 to fire at the range,
her favorite 9mm is my faithful Sig  228  )
