Title: Farmingdale #246 for sale
Post by: Brenden on February 13, 2019, 06:15:39 PM
Reluctantly I’m putting up for sale a Pup I’ve had for quite some time!
It’s been a safe queen since I’ve had it. It is serial number 246,no R prefix, early gray, one out of approximately 48 of the first ones made!
It has its original blue grips on it and I cannot find a mark on it anywhere!
I have pictures but cannot seem to download them from photobucket? I know that there were some problems with them but unknown now?
Includes 2 mags, everything that came with it originally and the box of course.
I’m asking 1600.00 for this lovely specimen of a Rohrbaugh!!
If you know Rohrbaugh’s you know what this is!
If you want a pic I guess you can send me your mail on here or in an IM on here and I’ll keep an eye out for it as I get no notifications when someone hits this here.
Thanks for the look here and I loo forward to hearing from you!
Take care and all the best my friends.
       B

Since I’m having difficulty adding pics please email me.
Brend encreed at hotmail dot com.   (Just put it together) Thanks

Mike, sent pics thanks for the help!

Brenden. . . . . Try resizing your photos smaller using what I use:   Fotosizer

If the photos are on an Android based phone, you can text the pics to yourself, and the phone automatically downsizes the images to a more text-friendly size.  Save the image you received in the text and you will have a smaller image.

Nah. I just have the free photobucket app and it won’t let me put any pics on this site at the moment!
I guess I have to find another free pic app!!

You do know that you can add pictures to your post directly from your phone (if you are using your browser to read the forum) or your computer without having to use a hosting service, right?

Mike,
Thanks for putting my pics of the Pup up for me!
Looking at the pictures I can’t see a spot on it! Being one of the first ones out there with the dark gray frame, the S on the slide,it sure is attractive! IMO!

I would love to see a photograph of the bottom of the magazine. If memory serves me, those 48+ pistols had the flat mag bases without the rectangular cutout in the rear for the magazine release to click in to for a more definitive grasp. If that's the case, I have some of the newer design with that cutout along with the updated magazine release itself. The magazine releases were (C.N.C.) cut from solid 17-4PH stainless steel and then hand deburred and tumble polished. Let me know if that helps any.

Eric,
I’ll take a look when I get home and send you a picture or two.
I guess I don’t quite understand everything you stated but heck, that doesn’t take much to do that to me anymore!!😮🤭

Brenden, forward a picture to me as well.  I'll post it up as I am interested, as I am sure others are as well.

Then we all can get a history lesson from Eric.

This sure is a very nice early Farmingdale that you can hold and fondle at your leisure!!😎😮💕..
Or you can put it in your pocket and know you’ve got the finest 9mm pocket rocket available!!
It’s a great item to purchase with that income tax refund!😍
If you have any other questions about this please contact me and I’d be more than happy to answer anything you have on your mind!
I think it’s well worth the asking price but I am going to shave 100.00 off so now I’m asking
1500.00!!! So I can’t wait to hear from you and look forward to that!!
     All the best my friends!

Congrats on the sale.  I want to make some room in my safe, but I can't decide which to sell.
