Still have my generator and 30 gals. of gas.. :)
I'm in Polk County, at the very center of the State.

Good luck RJ!!!

In Pinellas County we are expecting tropical storm force winds by 2am and hurricane force by 5am. We will see if I am still on-line in the a.m.
See you on the other side... ;)

Good luck guys ... stay safe by any means. This is just outlandish getting hit by another .. Murphy is being real cruel.
Do please report back in soonest so we know you are OK.
Thinking of you - and wishing I could be of some help ... instead .. horrible impotence.

Still o.k. this a.m. Things slowed down. The center has passed RJ about now and is headed here quickly. At least this baby is moving...
The trees are swaying the rain is falling. Gusts to 53 mph so far -- here comes the worst. This shouldn't cause any structural damage unless a tree falls on the house. Power outgage is defintely possible.
All in all -- nothing at all like what Fly went through...

Sounds better than might have been .. ''better'' in a purely relative sense. Hope it is soon gone and no severe damage in its wake. Let this be the last!

Looks like the worst is probably past me. My power flickered and went on and off a bit. We are luck to have undergrond power lines that are no so vulnerable to trees and wind and such.
Another neighbor's oak tree went down, but caused minor damage. Another huge mess though...
We were lucky again.

Glad to hear it Duane ... all I can say is ''phew!'' .. and hope to heck there won't be any more your way.
