You could try Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black on the scratch.  It might not match perfectly, but it will make a shiny silver scratch into a dark scratch.

Could be a tough time to sell anything except a car or SUV right now with everyone having youngin's heading back to school or college. Give things time and try to post some photographs. That always seems to garner attention here.

Wow, that's a nice clean unit with all of the updates done to it. We can tell that by the dots in between the USA, ie., U.S.A.

That meant, in house, that that slide had the firing pin hole moved over a few thousandths so it would contact the ammunition dead center instead of slightly to the side. But yes, all of the updates that were available through the factory are done to this pistol.

Good Luck with your sale!

Regards.

I like that it included the original shipping carton.  It’s a little extra piece of history of the gun since it has the serial number and model on the box.  I saw one for sale recently where the seller had cut out the labels from the box and included them in the sale.  It was a little strange he didn’t save the whole box.

After some back and forth, I found out Thicker lives about an hour away from me. Had the pleasure of meeting him today and picking up this R9. Full package just as described in the original shipping box. Great guy and very smooth transaction. Thanks!
