Title: Robar R9s with new VZ grips
Post by: bama on April 09, 2012, 10:11:49 PM
I took advantage of the sale on VZ grips to get these new ones, to replace the plain black grips on my Robar R9s.

What do y'all think? My wife thinks they are cool.   8)

Those VZ grips really set off that R9, Bama. I have a pair of the VZ Smooth Hyena Brown G10 grips for my R9 and they are the ones that are usually on the piece. For a certified "grip junkie" such as I am (eight sets of various types for the R9 alone), that says a lot about the VZs.

Thanks, everybody. I like the grips that come standard, but these are an order of magnitude cooler!!!

I would like to see a picture of a Robar R9 with the blue VZ carbon fiber grips!

Bama,

Very nice indeed. I did just put the plain black CF on mine. I too have a AFO but for work only. I had a machinist relocate the pocket clip. It was way too low making things far to obvious for me. I like my Micro-Tech Troodon for a very low profile. Check it out.
