Title: Machined in dovetail slots for sights???

Has anyone looked into cutting in dovetail slots into the slide of a R9 for night sights?

I don't have my R9 yet and don't know if the thickness of the top of the slide would allow for this.

Any ideas?   Thanks

IMO its no were near thick enough.
