This shouldn't last long.   ;D
If I wasn't looking for a Kimber Ultra CDP right now, I might be intrested.

Thanks John. This is the one I paid over $1400.00 for on gunbroker last spring, which got attention on the forum.

I probably overpaid but I was intent upon getting those factory carbon fiber grips. Now that I have my Robar R9, I can sell the other one at a slight loss.

This is not a firesale and I don't have to sell it. If someone wants a great R9S, as described, with gorgeous factory carbon grips, it's all there.

How do you like your Robar? Do you feel any differances?
I have a dealer that has one for $1730.00 if I want it. He sells on Quantity so keeps markup down.

The Robar R9, for me, is the definitive R9 and I carry it all the time.

$1730.00 is a great price and beneath market value. Is it new or used?

Brand new, he sells all of his guns under MSRP. He is a retired UPS Worker and does gun sells for extra income. Told me the last year he made over 80K doing this. Not bad for "extra income" job :)
Really a nice guy as well. We both have Golden Retrievers so he has to be !  <grin>

You have asked if the Robar feels different twice. The answer is "yes". The R9 I am selling has a better trigger pull than the Robar.

My guess is that the Robar process imparts a coating on metal parts which will smooth out over time. I am not a technical person, nor metalurgist.

However, the aesthetic appeal of the Robar is immediate as it is one tone. My Robar R9S has factory carbon fiber grips, as well, and I think it is perfect.

Can we get back to the subject of this thread which is selling my R9S?

Sorry for the side track, I was just curious as to the differant "perceived" feel if any of the Robar. There are not that many Robar owners I know of to question. I only asked about it twice as I did not recieve an answer the first time and thought it may have just been an oversight. Again my apologies.

Chief:
No offense taken nor given. I recommend you buy the Robar R9 if the factors are as favorable as you suggest.

As to my R9, (the subject of this string) the timing may not be right, due to proximity to Christmas. Then again, the best presents I receive are the ones I purchase for myself so we will see.
