PCS Holster Recommendation
« on: August 15, 2006, 10:52:50 AM »
The No-See-Um Canted pocket holster from Pocket Concealment Systems (PCS) has worked very well for me.  I use it for my S&W 642 38 Special.

It is stiff and flat at first, but the leather gradually softens and curves more against your leg.  It does an outstanding job of hiding the pocket gun.

Hey Bill,

I like the PCH line, too.  Have several and all work extremely
well.  I have one for my Rohrbaugh, Keltec P3AT (2) and also
my 642.

Lightning Arms are good folks, too.

Best, Lee

Thanks, Lee.

I am very pleased with mine.  It is of the highest quality.

I just happened to be going through the Lightning Arms web site and saw the PCS brand.

It was real stiff, and real flat, but in a few weeks it settled in just fine.  I asked Michael Meredith, the maker, about it, and he was right on with his reply email.  He said it would soften up.

Mine pretty much feels like a wallet in the right pocket.  Of course, it does not curve around the leg like a Milt Sparks PCH.

I've started wearing long shirts, not tucked in, so everything is pretty stealthy.  Fortunately, fashion has changed for the better.  I've heard that Out is In, and In is Out.  They must mean away from the office. :)

I generally buy Milt Sparks, but may have to switch now.

Lightning Arms are really top notch.  Audrey even called me back one time, using my Caller ID.  She knew that I needed to talk with her.  I wish all companies were like them.

I had to laugh on clothing review there.  I see the hip,
young golfers are bringing back the fat, white belt which my
father tirelessly wore in the 60's and 70's.  Wow, never thought that they would return along with the white shoes.

I just wish I had my old bellbottomed jeans and I would fit
right in except my hair is not as long as it used to be.

I recall my 1st job in High School was as a bagger at an IGA grocery store.
We all had long hair and the "cool thing" was to wear a wig
to cover it up and then take it off when we left the store.

Man, those were the days.  Oh, gas was cheap, too.

Anyway, I digress.  Well, hang in and be safe and enjoy
your PCS (I wrote PCH) holsters.

Best from Florida where it's hot and just getting hotter,
Lee
