Post by: Ljutic on October 21, 2011, 07:48:43 PM
I know it's a tall order, but if you have a PH3 for a R9 let me know.

Thanks!

I didn't think it would be, but it was worth a shot!

I think that might have been the one I was too late for recently.  Please post a picture as I've been wondering what an ostrich shin looks like.

Right or left pocket?

Right pocket would be great.  I knew I would forget to include some important detail on my ISO.

You didn't just miss this one it was ordered over a year ago. ;D
It is not Ostrich "SKIN" it is Ostrich "SHIN" (from the leg)

Here is my Ostrich SKIN holster (LEFT) that was made by Ron Graham.
And on the Right my Ostrich SHIN holster by Matt Del Fatti.

Matt does awesome work and offers great customer service.
That has been my experience with him. :D
It' too bad he is so backlogged, but if he wasn't you may not want one of his holsters. ;D

How true! My advice would be to get on Matt's waiting list -- when it is open -- and in the meantime put out standing searches on all the usual sources, place WTB notices on the various forums (as you have done here), and "keep lines out and baited." Now and then one might get lucky. I did. Here is what I call a "Del Fatti Triple Play" for my HK P7:

Good luck!

I was lucky as well.  Received a tip from a Forum member about this one for a Seecamp; new in the bag.

I think that's my problem.  I was lucky enough to land a elephant PH3 for my Seecamp from the "in-stock page", but never really used it until a few weeks ago.  After using it, I have come to the conclusion that the PH3 may indeed be the best pocket holster ever created, as per my personal tastes and carry preferences.  Expensive sure, but well worth the money.

kj, nice snag, I like my Elephant PH3 for the Seecamp and can't wait to get home and try out the Ostrich one for my pup.

Thanks, John.  I may look into getting on Matt's list for the R9 when he starts taking orders again.
