There must be a reason why this hasn't ever been done before...
I am trying to figure out how this all can work. Surely the more technical here can explain why this has to be a compromise gun in some respects.

If anything, the chambers will have to be straight walled to handle the .38 spl and .357 cartridges. To simply put 9mm cartridges in a moon clip and fire them in a straight-walled chamber seems down right dangerous to me... :o

Well, that was part of my thinking. I know a 9mm cylinder would generally have to be reamed out to accomodate .38/.357 ammo, so I would think there would be a loss of accuracy at a minimum.

The mere thought of firing a 9mm cartridge in that rig gives me a cold chill. :o
