Title: IMI Timber Wolf
Post by: Richard S on July 14, 2008, 04:04:02 PM
To celebrate the recent decision of the United States Supreme Court in District of Columbia, et al. v. Heller, No. 07–290, I have purchased this new level of my personal version of "homeland security" -- an IMI Timber Wolf chambered for .357 Magnum and coated in Wilson Combat ARMOR-TUFF® Protective Firearms Finish (OD Green and Black):

What a beauty. Congratulations to you and to all who hold second amendment rights dear.

Thank you, gentlemen!

I purchased a Timber Wolf when IMI introduced them to the market but turned it loose back in 1990 before heading out overseas. I've regretted letting it go ever since that time. It's good to have one back at hand. This one was "virgin" -- never fired, and I was fortunate to find it. I like a pump-action rifle, my first gun having been my father's Model 1906 Winchester .22, and the Timber Wolf has good balance and a natural feel for me.

The Army colors are impressive; reminds me of Doc Blanchard
and Glenn Davis and all of those mignificent redoubts over-
looking the Hudson.

I fear that "Mr. Inside" and "Mr. Outside" will be sorely missed on December 6 this year in Philadelphia.   :-/

They were an offensive powerhouse, without a doubt.
