Just got the Croc holster the other day that I ordered for my Kimber Ultra CDP.
It was done by a craftsman named Eugene Oppe, from the order date to delivery was about four weeks. He got the Gator hide just for my holster. Cost was $190 delivered, workmanship is first rate.

I have the Elephant Rafter S OWB and the Ostrich pocket holster by Ron Graham for the pup. ;D

John, no flys on the good looking croc holster. Tom

The Kimber needs an Elephant one too! ;D
-
kj,
I agree, PM me your credit card number and I will get one ordered. ;D
John
-
Sorry, John; don't use credit cards! ;D
-
No problem, cash or check works fine. I'll even drive to your house and pick it up. :o
John
-
John, what's with that creepy-crawley thing under your name? I thought they would all the bugs worked out by now. Seriously the Kimber and the holster are both VERY nice! Gene
-
All the comments about my avatar are starting to BUG me. ;D ;D
Not really, thats my pet cockroach.
When you live in the south you become accustomed to bugs.
John
-
Energetic little b------ isn't he? Do you think you should cut back on his meds? Gene
-
Living in the Texas gulf coast, cockroach was the first thing that crossed my mind but I didn't want to offend anyone by saying it; thanks for the clarification.
-
The cockroach is going to take a rest, enjoy the new addition.

I was antisipating that, John, and had a great answer; forgot what it was. Must be Richard's Sometimers! ;D

I have suffered with bouts of CRS myself. (Can't Remember Sh*t)

Eiiggghh...Think I prefer the "cockroach"...
-
P7. At least we're not swatting the kid! ;D
-
Maybe not swatting, but I have attempted to slap that look off its face 6 times now... :o
-
And speaking of new leather per the original poster...! This was waiting at the post office for me this morning!
1911 full size rig with "hippo" collar. This will be used for the "Clacky Kimber" I have.
Matt is just the bomb.

Hey, very nice! The Kimber will be carried in style. :)
-
don't you just love good looking leather. Tom

And sitting next to Mauna Loa. I used to fly up that volcano from sea level to the top at 100' AGL. That trick today would result in a Captain's Mast.
That is a beautiful holster.

Careful. Don't want to be charged with child abuse! ;D

P7, that is a beautiful piece of work!!, and Matt can be proud of himself for creating it. Speaking of beautiful holsters, I was in the Seecamp forum saturday and saw a caiman skinned pocket holster made by Robert from Meco holsters. And it was GORGEOUS! I immediatley called Robert and told him I had to have one for my Pup. He agreed and said it would be delivered in about 300 years. At least that's how long it will seem to me. The old hippie saying was right "instant gratification ain't quick enough!" Gene
-
So Gene. How long will it take? ???

And what was it that you be "sage burning" up the mountain in?
Only reason that chart was laying there is last time we went out to visit relatives I grabbed a Mooney and flew around the island. Left from Hilo, flew north up coast looking at warefalls then over to Waimea, had lunch in Kona, flew up saddle road and back, then flew around the south to see lava at night, around Kapoho then back to Hilo. I would have liked to fly near the top of either one of the two but being non pressurized and no oxy,...well, you know...
So I retired the chart under one of the glass work tables here.
-
That was an S-2, rather archaic and slow by today's standards, but it had two stout P&W 1820s and earned the moniker of Grumman iron works.
-
Ah...hence the screen name I presume?
-
Exactly.
-
KJ, I've bought several holsters from Robert and he's always given me that 8-10 weeks figure. However, it's never taken longer than 5 weeks so I figure it'll show up eventually. And I'll suffer through the waiting as I always do. Probably builds character or something. Gene
-
I've got a front pocket holster from Robert and seems like 4 weeks in April, 09. Was just wondering on the caiman if it would take longer? I know he will get it to you soon as he can.
-
Robert just sent this one to my husband, the pictures really can't display how nice it is. I think the wait time is still about the same.

MrsF, very nice looking holster the hubby has there. Robert makes a great holster.
John
-
Very nice indeed, MrsFosforos. I know your husband is proud.
-
MrsFosforos, seeing your husband's Seecamp caiman on the Seecamp forum is what got my holster buying glands all stirred up. It seems that every time I see one of Robert's holsters I go into a feeding frenzy. So I ordered a caiman for my R9. Speaking of seecamp, Robert made a gorgeous shark skin holster for mine. (I gotta put his ph # on my speed dial!) Gene
-
Another OHAD. It is contagious; my shoe fetish is minor by comparison.
-
Gene. Don't forget the shark skin for the R9! :)

I was at his house one day and saw one of his sharkskin holsters too, that is a beautiful one.

Tracker, I don't know why you think I'm obsessed with holsters, my bed is barely half full of them. Gene
-
At least they don't talk back to you and you only have to pay for them once. They also stay beautiful and hold their shape for years.

;D ;D ;D
"Herself" has remained beautiful and has held her shape, but she is definitely "high maintenance," and as for that bit about "talking back" . . . Oy vey iz mir! She can use words as surgical scalpels or nuclear devices, depending on her mood at the time. ;)

Richard. Does herself read this Forum? ;D

Yes, she checks up on me now and then, but she would probably agree with that last statement. Anyway, she's the light of my life who has made me a better man than I was when I finally found her and who keeps me young. 8)

Very good words, Richard. True sentiment on the values of an excellent marriage. Outstanding. :)
-
Yep...agree with all that....!
my wifey is 5 ft tall and a buck ten soaking wet and gorgous....HOWEVER....when "stirred" with the wrong spoon she becomes 9 ft tall and bullet proof!

How true! How true! Wives have super powers. I'm always amazed. :) :)
