Title: POF-USA P308-16-MRR-308 RECON

That's a mouthful....let's just call it a P308.

I just picked one of these up. I'd been wanting an AR in .308 for a while now, and had been reading up a lot on both these and an LWRC. I decided to go ahead and go with the POF. I had thought about waiting for the FN SCAR 17 to come out; I've got a SCAR 16s and love it.

I'm fairly pleased as far as the fit and finish, trigger crispness, and layout.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to shoot it this weekend.  I'll take some pictures when I get home, I just picked it up about an hour ago.

Does anyone have any experience with these? Anything I should look out for?

Been wanting one of these for sometime now.  This isn't mine, but certainly still in the thought process.  Will be interested in what you think and how it shoots.

  Sorry to hear that, I have bought and traded for at least twenty different used firearms and have never had a problem or regret.
  The good thing about local trades or purchases is you can see what your getting, and sometimes even shoot it before you buy.

John.  I just like new stuff, but gave in to the Seecamp.  Don't know what could have gone wrong with it.  That actually was my second used gun purchase.  The first was a .25 automatic, my first handgun.  It was flawless.

50+ used guns here over the years and the only regrets i've had is that I have since sold most of them.   I love the used gun market.  I like looking for the next DEAL.

kj,  what about a used R9, serial number 117 no-R ?

Corey.  I'll pass on that as well; although, hard to do.  I'll just hope for that only factory fired one, somewhere.
