Title: Brownells
Post by: DDGator on September 01, 2004, 10:58:45 AM
I never ceased to be amazed with Brownells...

When I ordered by Grace 1/16th inch brass punch, I ordered a couple of other things.  One of them was defective and broke immediately.  I called Brownells, expecting to have to ship this one back and wait for a new one.  No such thing -- they shipped out my replacment item today and asked me to return the other at my leisure with the RMA they are sending me.

If you don't buy from Brownells -- you should.

Any order of instock stuff made by about 3pm goes out the same day. Prices are reasonable.  Shipping is reasonable.  Customer service is great.

I concur.  I love that if you only order a few small items, they will send it US Post (if you select it) for only a few dollars shipping.

Is this the punch to order for Rohrbaugh disassembly?

Yes.  The manual recommends at 1/16 in. punch.  By having it brass, it is less likely to mar the surface of the gun if you do something silly.

I was able to find case hardened steel punches at my local hardware store, but not brass.
