I took a bunch of pics for my R-9 review to be published in the next issue of Concealed Carry Magazine... The galley proofs just came out today so I thought I would post one of the pictures they did not use.
Here is something you don't want to see in person... :o

I noticed the trigger finger, first thing! Is that you ?
-
Indeed -- it is me! And yes, my finger is not on the trigger and the gun was very, very empty -- it didn't even have a mag in it! I find that you can on RARE occasion, after thoughful and careful study, violate ONE of the 4 rules -- so long as its only one. In this case, I was pointing the R-9 at something I was unwilling to destroy -- my wife's Nikon ($1,300) and my wife (priceless). But no finger on the trigger!
Hard to tell from the photo, but I was sporting my Bucs shirt and Rohrbaugh hat!

.........and now you have a new Avatar !! :)

Nice one Duane ....... KEWL! :)
I remember when I took my pic of my R9 with a gold dot ''lurking'' - ''Make my day'' ... you or someone mentioned re rule #2 . In my case I was lined up with gun and camera but ... viewing to one side by virtue of a tiltable display screen.
Had the 7 lb trigger been activated by ''forces unseen'' ,.... it would have been trashed camera but ... intact self!
Your situation there was ''double jeopardy'' in a sense ... so a definite caution requirement! :P You are forgiven!
Makes a great avatar.!

Duane, when it's that close the 9mm. hole looks so BIG!
I'd NEVER want to see that muzzle looking at me in person, it's pointing right between my eyes. Scary, but a great pic. :o
