If the Holster you wanted was only available in black, would that be a "Put off" for you ?
-
Not for me. Choices are nice, but if the holster I want with the features I want only comes in black, then black it is.

RJ:
As you know, it has been a long time since I ordered a holster in any color other than black.

My main point in this "Survey" is how much this slows me down. Sometimes, I have holsters on hand, for various reasons. But they are nearly ALWAYS in the wrong color.. Another reason , "Brown " is very un- predictable for me, just never know what might happen.
A General pain in the Butt !!
Thanks for these , and any continued responses...

>>I suppose I would buy the holster if only in black...as I did with that one of yours I got off some other guy, you might remember (you made me a mag holster to go along with it). However, the one I've discussed with you I would prefer in brown / burgandy...in part because it is similar to one I already have in black (Ron Graham Holster - came with the gun)...TW<<

RJ,
Color choice would not be important to me. I have usually taken stock on hand rather than wait for a particular color. For some reason, most of my holsters purchased in this manner have always been brown. Since I had to have you make my "New Type LE" anyways, I picked black just to have something different.

Brown for sure, goes with the belt & shoes. No really it matters not because its hidden away in pocket. Better to have proper function & quality than color choice.

R.J.,
I agree with the majority of the replys, I would accept whatever color you had on hand. I know that I would be receiving a holster of the highest quality, and workmanship, color makes very little difference to me.

I would prefer a black holster for pocket carry, rough side out even for better "grip" on the pocket. Workmanship and quality are what I am interested in. If I have to go into that pocket, it's all business.
If someone wants another color, and it is not convenient to build, you can always offer it with a "color surcharge". ;)
-
RJ,
I actually prefer black-the darker the better.
-
On the other hand, many simply like to have a choice. Remember what happened to Ford when GM offered color and Ford only offered black.
You could simply note that brown may take longer, or some such, while giving the customer the choice.
Good luck with this RJ.

Black is usually my preferred color, but it generally doesn't bring out the true beauty of the leather as much as other colors.
-
RJ,
I prefer black also.

RJ..
Black is my preferred holster color..And all the accessories that go with them.. 8)

Color is a mnor consideration and the very last one. Not being able to select a color would not stop me from ordering a holster model I wanted.
