Brenden,
Thanks for posting these. When the liberal media even shows something on 9/11 you never see the plane pictures anymore and those poor souls jumping to their deaths - some holding hands. Let us not forget.

Never forget!
-
The liberal media used 9/11 for their own use, then when they played it to the hilt, they forgot all about it.
They just move on to another topic that they can blame Bush for.
It's amazing that they and the democrates just don't get it, or care about the country or its people.

Well I sure will not forget.
We certainly have valid reasons to have firearms available.
-
Forget? Never!!!
Brenden - a salutary reminder, tho for most of us not needed I'll venture to say.
My 9/11 was strange - having flown in to Dulles 9/10 - all was normal. Drove home, unpacked and turned in - nothing out of ordinary.
Next morn' - sipping coffee and watching news and - oh my - what I saw was chaos and mayhem. What a transition from one day to next. It still haunts me and always will.

I was on the phone with a builder in North Carolina, who was planning a house for us in northern Michigan.
The first thing he said was: "Isn't it terrible what happened".
That was the first I'd heard about it.
-
I was home in northern Michigan the morning of 9/11. My wife and I were watching the "Today Show" when the world changed before my eyes.
-
I had walked into the copier room at my office just before 9:00 a.m. on 9/11/2001 and found one of the secretaries standing transfixed before a television set. She was praying. The image on the television was of smoke billowing from the side of the World Trade Center's North Tower. A few minutes later the South Tower erupted into smoke and flame.
The impact of that terrible moment is indelibly burned into my memory. I remember feeling the same cold numbness and helpless fury which I felt at that terrible moment on November 22, 1963, when I strolled into the lobby of my hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen after a day of skiing and was told by the concierge: "I regret to inform you, Sir, that your President was killed earlier today in Dallas, Texas. U. S. forces in Germany have been placed on high alert, and all American soldiers have been ordered to report immediately to their units!"
There are moments in life when one realizes that the world as previously known will never again be the same.

CaptBW, why were you watching the far left Today Show,is it because of the cute little Katie? Tom
-
That cute little Katie is a liberal wolf in sheep's
clothing. On more than one occasion she has
let her alligator mouth overload her hummingbird
brain.

you have that right!!!! Tom

I was at work and a co-worker called me to say that a plane had hit the WTC!!
We have a TV on a news channel in the breakroom,so I went to watch what was going on and got to witness the second plane hit :'(
The images that followed should be burned into every Americans mind!! I am just afraid that with everything else we as a nation tend to have a "TV" mind..If it isn't staring us in the face-most tend to let it slide..
NOT people of our "Tribe" 8) but generally speaking.. :(
CaptBW-where Northern MI may you be? I am there too?? ;)

Thank you Brenden. I greatly enjoy this forum, and its members.
Because I had lurked and learned here before getting my R9, the first disassembly was relatively easy. Used a basswood stop stick, and pushed the pin out with a toothpick. If not for the information available here I would probably still be struggling.

Was working in Atlantic Highlands NJ that morning, just across the river from the WTC. Heard it on the radio before I noticed the smoke. From then on it was one ambulance after another going past to get to the ferry. Felt strange to continue working while that was going on a couple of miles away. The smell of the smoke and the sight of it billowing up when the towers collapsed along with the sound of constant sirens are the memories etched in my brain from that day. I didn't actually see the footage till I got home that night. Thinking of that day, as always, stokes the fires of anger deep inside. Justice must be served. Whether it be done by lead or by trial matters not to me. No rest until everyone who thinks its OK to kill innocent people because you don't agree with them or how they live is brought to justice. Never forget. . . Never will.
