I just spoke with Karl and Eric today. The R-bros will be at the show, of course. They will be displaying a new product -- the long awaited R-380.
The R-380 has been discussed here before and is exactly the same gun as the R-9, but will slight internal mods to shoot .380 ACP (i.e., different breech face, extractor, ejector, barrel and magazine).
The R-380 will be the answer for people who don't like, or can't handle, the recoil of the 9mm.
The oldtimers here may recall that I had the privilege of shooting the R-380 prototype up at the original Farmingdale factory over two years ago. What a sweet gun! The recoil is negligible. It is nothing like shooting a blowback style gun like the NAA .380 Guardian. The 380 is a real pussycat and will be very popular.
I look forward to seeing the new prototypes (or maybe production models?) at the show.

The gun should appeal to the "recoil" sensitive for sure..
It is going up "against" the Seecamp .380,which can be a "biter" but not terribly bad!! ;)
For the size, the Seecamp is going to trump in the .380 mode..
I dearly love all my Pups..
But I may make a place for the ".80 Pup" ;D
Is there a "list" yet?? ;)

I would call the factory to get on the list -- if there is one.
The Seecamp will be smaller, but not easier to shoot. The blowback Seecamp will never shoot as nice as the R-380. ;)
