Title: Black Bear Flashlights
Post by: DDGator on October 28, 2006, 04:59:13 PM
I am sure that some of you have heard about Black Bear Flashlights from other forums.  Juan has finally put up his own website, which is quite impressive:

http://www.blackbearflashlights.com/

The have recently obtained a Borealis 1050 and a Bear Cub.  I am very impressed with both.  (A review will be forthcoming in CCM, of course).

The Borealis 1050 is the brightest light a have ever seen.  If you are a flashlight enthusiast, you need to think about getting one of these.  The Bear Cub is a great house or car light, cranking out 220 lumens for 1.5 hours!

If you order from Juan -- mention you saw it here! ;)

Juan's website is really coming along...

Just a bump to remind people about these products.  I will be reviewing them for CCM in an upcoming issue.  In preparation for that, I have been using them on a daily basis and I can't say enough about them.

Sometimes its just nice to have a regular sized flashlight--especially one that throws the light these do.

I am fortunate to live on a golf course at a spot where it is over a 1/4 mile across.  Its also pitch black -- a good way to escape from a burglary scene.

From my back door, this light cuts a 50 foot diameter swath through the dark and lights up houses on the other side of the golf course.  It is amazing.  You won't hide from me in the dark.  ;)
