MountainMan is sounded by nuts ;)
This light is an ORB RAW NS - very small and semi-custom made in London - machined out of nickel silver - very high quality. Two levels of light - highest 77 lumens. This was part of a group buy from the Seecamp Forum where 25 were made with the Seecamp logo engraved in.

Being in the middle of a mainly century plus oak forest I have acorns all over - sometimes it is like walking on ball bearings. Because of this I am also surounded by squirrles and deer. Have about twenty deer that feed and bed within sight of the house nightly.
Light on low:

This is really a small walnut:

These first two pictures below were taken after the lights were made by the maker

You can see the glow rod channeled "tritium" locator.

Yo! 8)
Also, are there any still available with the Seecamp logo?

There shoulod be several avaiable by the end of Jan. Order now. I canceled my order for three.
They were $106.00 each with the Logo, and the Tritium.
They are two stage lighting, low, and high. Rechargeble. On high, the light charge lasts for fifteen minutes. They are well made
-
Richard - as Chameleon said there may be a few of the Seecamp ORB RAW NS at the end of January. They may do a small run.
Even though the light runs 15. min on high at 77 lumens - it does run for 7 hours on the low setting that is good for most work.
They are suppose to have some of the non-Seecamp ones on stock. If you do get one I would go for the extra battery also.
It does seem like a lot of money for something so small - but the size and quality is what you are paying for.

It was a lot of leg work to organize the group buy by GregWork on the Seecamp forum - here is the thread on how he did it:

ThankSS MM for the heads up and info.
Richard,I`ll ask IF I get a reply.
-
This unit's max output is 77 lumens...but it looks like more of a 'spread pattern' as opposed to a focused beam like on Surefire lights. Is that correct? Hard to tell from the pics.
Very interested in one of these little masterpieces.
-
It does give a spot with some nice spill - lights the entire room. See beam shot on page 2 of this thread.
Richard - to order a Seecamp NS you would need to join the Seecamp forum - this was an agreement Larry Seeecamp gave for permission to use the logo.
It is easy to join and there are a number here on both forums.
They do have the NS on stock without the Seecamp logo.
-
No reply in two days from them.I`ll stick to the Fenix`s.If they can`t even reply how are they going to get us the lights .....
-
Just a few more pictures.
PS - I really like the Fenix lights also - have five myself and am giving four additional as gifts this Christmas.

Dave:
Thanks for the heads up. I'll stop over there and sign up for the Seecamp forum in the next day or so. I often check it just to see if there is anything posted which I need to pass on to my little wife, who requisitioned and now owns what used to be my prized LWS .32.

A beam shot Greg did comparing the Fenix P1 with the Raw NS. Someone did a run down test and it seems they got about 30 minutes on high before diming - think low is 7 hours.
P1 Left Raw NS Right

Howdy - if you do order those lights, I would like to get one or two as well.

I too got one of these lights!!
Very nice,especially with the logo..
It puts out a lot of light for how small it is!!
It is not a "surefire" intensity, but more of an "area" filling beam..
It is tiny though, much smaller than my E1e..
I will say, that being a very special light,Seecamp logo, I have not pocket carried yet!!
I am waiting for the special holster.. ;)

I wouldn`t mind one of the Seecamp ones if they are available.I got an email Christmas greeting from Robert Cheetum of Lummni but no answers to any of my questions......WTF?
I ain`t gonna beg ya know. ::)

Brenden - I carry mine in either the plasitic holder it comes shipped in - or a Fenix P1 holster.
