I am sad to pass along the sad news that Jim Cirillo, legendary hero of the NYPD, was killed in a car accident.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jim a year and a half ago and having dinner with him. I got two full hours of stories of the Stakeout Squad, gunfights, and his views on life. What a memorable guy, and a true American hero.

He will be missed. God bless, Jim.

That is sad news, indeed! He was truly a great American and will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and multitude of friends.

This is sad news, very sad.
He truly was a hero, and you are sure lucky to have met him.
I have read some of his writings and an acquaintance of mine was developing some ammo with him many years ago.

Prayers to the family.
So many people do not realize what a loss it is to this country when one of the "Good Guy" Gunfighters are lost; he is now literally history only to be remembered.
