Poor, poor, RichardS.   :P  Some day, or some year, he may succumb to the realization that NAVY IS THE BEST!!!

Richard, it's a sad day. Navy is truly the best in football. I wait all year for this game, it's great to see such fine men and women.  Thanks to all of them and God speed.   Tom

That was not just a defeat, it was a drubbing . . . right up there with the 1949 game in which the score was Army 38, Navy 0.   ;)   Enjoy the moment, Navy.  To paraphrase General MacArthur, "We shall return!"   8)

I well remember some of those past greats from the Hudson:
Mr. Inside and Mr Outside, Doc Blanchard and Glenn Davis.
General Pete Dawkins wasn't exactly a slouch, either.

and let us not forget the lonely end, Bill Carpenter--also
a Vietnam hero. Roger Staubach was quite a player, too.
