Title: Peter High Velocity .38 specials

Howdy , I have pictured below three boxes of Peters .38 special
High velocity ammo , can someone please tell me the vintage of the boxes ??

I can't date the boxes but I'm an old timer and shot plenty of Peters 22 LR back in the 1950s and a few 38s just like these.  I never knew what happened to Peters.  I always thought their 22s were a little hotter than other brands.

Update,

Peters is long gone.

Remington ownes the name and makes ammo with the Peters name.  Newer Peters is probably not much better than Remington UMC and I would avoid it.  If you can get Winchester or Federal instead, do so.  I take no pleasure in this posting but I have lived within 60 miles of the Remington ammo plant for a long time and have lots of experience with their ammo and reloading components.
