Richard and Tom Team Rohrbaugh thanks you for your support. I will forward your regards. I have attended this conference for years and it is wonderful to be in a room with 800-1000 dedicated patriots. I hope those in DC are watching and I hope our local elected politicians are paying attention. Newsday comes to the coference with a crew every year but I don't ever recall seeing a report on the conference. Imagine that! Dan

Conference was a blast. I met our new president Ronald Schmeits intelligent.dedicated man. He is going to be a great leader. Shook hands and got a picture with Wayne Lapierre. He is one incredible speaker. Dick Heller told us his story, It took over 20 years of his life to get this Supreme court decision. Talk about dedication. For the record, Newsday actually acknowledged us this year. Little story, page 14, but they actually acknowledged that we exist. Its a start!! Dan

As one who lived in DC for several years and was present at the creation of the duplicitous movement by what passes for local government there to ban gun ownership by its citizens [It all started with, (1) "We just want to help you by having you register your firearms"; and next, (2) "We just want to ensure your safety by having you register your firearms each year and answer a few simple questions"; and then, (3) "We just want to protect you by outlawing all firearms not previously 'grandfathered' by registration"; and finally ended with, (4) "We just want to save all of you from harm by banning ownership and possession of firearms within our borders by all but authorized government personnel.")], I truly admire Dick Heller for his prolonged crusade. We all have benefited from his dedication to the cause of preserving the Second Amendment.

Stay tuned for Heller II.
