Title: Snowing in Florida
Post by: P7Enigma on January 09, 2010, 11:53:19 AM
Well I am about 50 miles north of Tampa and we have sleet and flurries. Hasn't happened since about '87 and in '77 it actually snowed pretty hard and put an inch and half on the ground.

I have been in some serious blizzards before but you just don't see "snow" down here to often. So it is something to wrte about for the preverbial "change of pace".8)

Stay safe!  The trusty computer says it's 34 degrees in Tampa.  We had 12 degrees here in NC 7:00 A.M.

That is something to write about.  Snow in Florida.

I see it's 43 degrees there at 9:41.  Has warmed up a bit.  28 degrees still here in NC, but should get warmer by mid day.

Stay warm.   :)    :)

Yep...know exactly where Wesley Chapel is..We have some property in the "backside" of Quail Hollow.

Two nights ago it was 15 degrees at my home up in Croom.

I am in Jacksonvile, I must say, our Golden Retriver is loving life. The more the temps drop the friskier he seems to get.

Birds were pecking at the ice in the birdbath the other morning then looking through our bay window with that "WTF" look....
