Tom:
I just tuned in to this thread. If I didn't have my "quota" of 1911s, I'd be all over this offer.
Anyone of you out there who needs a 1911 ought to jump on one of these!
-
Richard, thanks, I didn't know you had a quota?! ??? One can never have too many of a good thing.

The 1911 govt model is still for sale.

For those of you "younguns" who haven't heard of Ron Power, he was a LEGEND in PPC circles. He lived in Independence Missouri (70 miles south of me). His guns, "Power Custom", won PPC matches time and time again.
This .45 is a STEAL at that price!

SS, you are correct, he is a legend. He only built 2 pistols in .45acp, this being one of them, he built it for his banker. At the presentation of his American Handgunner of the year award, he was very supprised I had this very special pistol.

Richard, A good friend of mine, whose last name is Power bought it. He just could not keep his hands off of it when he saw the pistol.
