Title: Article on History of .357 Magnum

For anyone who has not seen it, this is a link to an interesting article by Dave Campbell dated 11/23/10 in American Rifleman on the history of the .357 Magnum cartridge, first introduced 75 years ago:

While the .357 Magnum is usually thought of as a handgun cartridge, I have an Israeli Military Industries Timber Wolf pump carbine chambered for the round. It makes for an outstanding brush gun for hunting and a good addition to the "homeland security" arrangements.

I read the whole article, thanks for posting this.

Years ago I saw the Timber Wolf rifles, you know what we say, I wish I did buy one back then. I think a carbine matched with a pistol is a great way to go.
