Title: Kindle Cover
Post by: K-Man on November 10, 2011, 08:07:50 PM
I've become an avid Kindle reader.  It was an asset for me as I really like to read various books, and since living in our 5th wheel RV full time, space is always at a premium.

I've been researching and looking at all the various designs of covers available for the Kindle for quite a while now.  This is the version we're going to offer:

The body/main piece is made from 3mm felt - very durable material.  We'll offer exotic skins, border tooling, and some other things as options.  It will have a velcro closure.  In it's form pictured above, the price would be $50 (plus shipping).  I currently only have the dark brown felt, but can get other colors.

Nice looking case, Kevin.  Trying to promote Amazon, huh?   ;)

I have sort of abandoned my Kindle in favor of the Kindle app on the iPad.  I do like the e-ink Kindle screen better for reading, but the iPad is always with me, so it become the default reader.

Interestingly, my oldest daughter's high school issues Kindles and they have several text books in Kindle format.

I am curious to see if the Kindle Fire really takes off.  It sure seems like it should.

We can make the covers for the I-Pad, as well as the other Kindle readers.   I'm looking serious at getting one of the Fires for my own use.

The Amazon facility here in KY is supposed to be the distribution center for the Fire.  I've not seen any come in through receiving, where I work.

Kevin:

I just wanted to post this to say that is some really beautiful and creative work you have there -- as usual.

Although I haven't yet joined the Kindle revolution, I'm seriously considering it. If the Kindle Fire takes off as predicted, you will probably be hearing from me.

I hope everything is going well for you and your lovely wife up there in Kentucky. Joyce joins me in sending you both our very best regards.
