Retired.  I don't know of anyone since the R9 is a pocket gun; there is an on waist band (OWB) and a in waist band (IWB) holster for the R9, however, you probably know that.

There may be one made for another gun that would work for the R9, just don't know what it is.  Others may chime in here with some help.

I would think that any company that makes a shoulder rig for a PPK would build one for an R9 assuming the have a mold gun.

I would think Galco or Ted Blocker could make a nice rig assumming....

Null also makes one for the R9.  A VERY compact one too.

Hello to all,new member here and thought it was time to make a first post. Long time Gun nut, but new Pup owner.
Just rumageing through my old holster drawer and found some that work extremely well...

Thought I might throw out there that Galco makes a shoulder holster for a 1911 that works great for my Pup. The advantage is that most large gun stores will have this in stock for you to try the fit,and no wait time if you like it. It is not a perfect fit but it is damn close. The model number from the holster  itself is 212-B.

Also found out that the Galco PLE paddle holster for the Walther PPKS is a perfect fit (model # PLE 2048 ),but the Walther PPKS shoulder holster will not work at all.
Galco inside the pants holster for the Khar P40 works pretty well(model sto290), and is also a stock model, no wait.

Most of the holsters that fit the Bersa thunder worked extremely well but are about an inch longer than necessary.

Uncle Mikes inside the pants holster (model 8910-1 size 10) is made of neoprene and is very comfortable for about 12 bucks, but the clip could be a little stronger for safety.

Thanks to all for the posting info,it has been very helpful

Retired, I don't remember if I have welcomed you. (Don't feel sleighted, I don't remember what I had for lunch either.) Anyway, greetings are just as sincere as they were the first time we welcomed you. So post often, take lots of pictures, and enjoy us as we will you.     Gene

Thank you all!!

I realize a shoulder holster is over kill for such a small pistol.

Just another option depending whats going on.

I prefer an OWB holster.

I picked up a null for suit wear - my tailor said it was easier to conceal a gun there, than in the pockets - his suggestion is to carry things in your jacket, and not use pant pockets in suits.

Hopefully, Alessi has things going better - they made a holster for me, but missed their delivery date by quite a bit.

(The longer I've been in manufacturing, the lower the tolerance I have for the "fuzzy" delivery dates in the gun industry. )

You might be interested in Concealment vests which are beutifully made by www.coronadoleather.com I haven't tried my pup in my new Bison Leather vest, but the holster is a universal elastic strap w/velcro - I currently am using my vest to carry and conceal my Glock 36 45acp w/nite sights and laseraim. I'm sure the pup would disapear in their vest. You might want to check them out.
Good luck and welcome to the forum (I just registered too).

There is a lot more vest wearing weather in Ohio than down here in NC. If I was still living in NY (south of Buffalo) I could probably wear a vest 8 months out of the year, down here two or three months would be it.

Well John I see you do have a point - here in central Ohio despite the record setting hot days we've had this year, when the temp goes down in the evening, it can be comforting when dressed in T shirt & jeans, to slip the vest on to walk the dog, trip to the carryout etc.

The vest could be considered as another holstering option! IWB on Monday, OWB Tuesday, Vest on Wednesday etc. IMHO  :D

Instead of a shoulder holster, I wear a T-shirt holster.

http://www.securityprousa.com/cotshho.html

It fits under most dress shirts and is pretty invisible. I wear it often when I go out in a suit or tux. I can carry two extra magazines on the opposite side.  Not very fast to get to the gun, unless you put hidden snaps under the buttons on a few shirts.

And you have to hold your arm close to your side when your wife's best friend gives you a hug. I hate having to explain what that lump of metal is under my arm. Or why I'm carrying a gun at a black tie fund raising event! (The answer being- if I'm not at the hospital or at church-I'm almost always carrying!)

There is always the Smart Carry, I don't think even one of your wife's friends will know your carrying, and if they do I don't think they will mention it.  ;D
