Title: Shark Skin?
Post by: Robar233 on June 06, 2011, 10:13:56 PM
I have a question for those of you with shark skin pocket holsters.
Do they stay in place in a front pocket better than a smooth leather holster? I have never seen a shark skin holster in person, but know shark skin has a sandpaper like feel to it. If this is what the holsters feel like they might be less prone to move around. Or I could be way off. Either way they do look darn good.
 Thanks for your advise.

I don't know that the shark skin itself keeps the holster in place, it does not have the abrasive feel as say a shark you pull straight out of the water.  It is however very durable.  I have had a shark pocket holster from Meco holsters and it still looks new as the day I got it.  I highly recommend the shark from my experience.  I think others will agree.

I do agree.  The sharkskin is not abrasive at all and does stay in place.  Mine is from Meco as well.  I recommend the sharkskin and think you'd really like it.

The design of the holster keeps it in place.
