Always strikes me that - for its diminutive size ... the R9 has a large hole if you are on the receiving end .. so, here is a light hearted bit of fun .....
First .... the ''make my day'' with a Gold Dot lookin at you! .......

Then, a pure fun version .. ;D .........

If I was lookin down this tube - I sure as heck would feel intimidated!! :P

Where can I get some of those Gold Dots with smiley faces on them? :D ;D :D

Hey Thanks R9SCarry,
A great picture and a nice way to start the morning!!!

posting that top picture could constitute aggravated assault in some jurisdictions :o
-
Really .... what, assault against a camera? ::) ;D
It's hardly being ''aimed'' maliciously at an individual!
-
Bandit, I assume you are joking...
An assault requires a reasonable belief that a person making a threat has the intention and ability to carry it out. A photo could never constitute an assault on anyone.
Cool photo.
Did you violate Rule #1, or did you take the picture "remotely" in some way? ;)

Did you violate Rule #1, or did you take the picture "remotely" in some way?
Hehe ... Duane - you take the prize for being first in with that question!! :D
The camera has a hinged screen at rear and so .. by flipping that up I am able to ''look down the muzzle'' but be above the axis of same by staying above the camera... using a remote also to take the exposure. I guess I was always about 12" above and to side of camera's lens axis.
Even tho when some ways out of line with the bore .. there is still a modicum of ''pucker'' at seeing the GD sittin there!! :P
-
Somehow I figured as much... ;D
The good thing about "the rules" is that you can usually get away with violation one -- its when you violate two at a time that you really have a problem...

The perspective makes it look like the barrel only extends a fraction of an inch past the end of the Gold Dot. :)

Very true Frank ..... this was due to the perspective compression from the equivalent of a 200mm lens!
