Title: Does the Rohrbaugh with sights cost more?
Post by: tgf600 on August 08, 2005, 10:59:01 PM
Do they cost more with sights ?  Would you really need the sights or not?

Im still looking at them but don't know if I need the sights or not.

Don't think it costs any more, But better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them. ;D ::)

Shop around too.  I just left a gun shop near my office that said they sold one last week for $1100.  I got mine for something around $960.

tgf600, Most of my customers like and want the R9 with sights, altho I have sold some guns without. All my guns on order have sights (R9s).  Regards, Tom

tgf welcome :) - if I hadn't said before.

Newt said it on the nail - ''better to have .....''.  These sights are so discrete that I doubt we can even really classify them as being ''draw inhibitors''.  Certainly for that slightly more deliberate shot i do find them handy.

That said - if the gun had never had sights - I'd not feel handicapped.

I haven't seen any difference in online prices. I assume the MSRP is the same. I think it's just a matter of different CNC machining coordinates. Might take a little extra time to machine the sights.
