Title: North Carolina R9?
Post by: dbracin on October 16, 2005, 08:35:18 PM
Does anyone in North Carolina have a Rohrbaugh? I want to order a pistol, but would like to hold one in my hand before spending that much money. Whats the current wait time when ordering?

dbracin,

Welcome to the forum.

I went to the Rohrbaugh Firearms site to see if they had dealers in North Carolina.  Sorry, none were listed.

They do have two in South Carolina.

Chances are good someone here will respond to your request.

dbracin,

I did a little research here on the forum.

Member Red_Moose is from Charlotte,, NC.

His email is: jamesallen@carolina.rr.com

I can't remember seeing him on the forum, but he probably could help.

Well, I now notice that Red_Moose only made three posts, and his participation may be limited.

There is also a member named north_carolina, but there are 0 posts.

Sorry.

For what it's worth, I suspect 95% of the people here had never been near the R9 when they placed the order.

Thanks for the replys. I love my PM9 and have absolute confidence in it, but when looking at the pictures of the the R9 and PM9 side by side, well..... I want a R9.

I also had the PM9 and really enjoyed it.  However, it seemed far too big/heavy  for my pocket, and had to reside  in a Milt Sparks IWB EX Companion.

The R9S seems much smaller, and you are almost not aware of it in your pocket.

My two holsters for the R9S are RJ Hedley and Milt Sparks PCH.
