I picked up my two tone R9S friday, all I can say is its everything everyone that has one has said, and everything a pocketgun should be.
One thing I will add is it's a natural pointer, That is the first thing I really noticed, how well it sat in my hand and pointed.
I have only put 25rds of rem 124g gshp through it, perfect funtion and accuracy was very good/as expected.
I'm not sure why but I felt I needed a second to just put away, so I ordered anouther... ???

Do you have any idea what kind of wait they are quoting now?
-
A couple of weeks ago, I was told by Eric, the wait was 3-4 months :'(

Hi RJ:
A bunch of dealers when they ordered a R9 for a customer, also ordered some extra. In November, anyone who had expressed an interest in the gun was e-mailed and told to send in a nearly 50% deposit. I ordered mine through Erik Chaffee and sent my deposit in through him. Because it was right before Christmas, a bunch of people didn't. So I think it is easier to find one now through a dealer than if you wait until after the gun rags start to publish their reviews.

It seems 3months +, I told the dealer I wanted anouther but not until late august/sept. I to save a few pennies for it and he told me he would order it now for me as it would be at least that long a wait.
He also made the comment "wait till they hit the Gun mags" there will really be a wait.

The dealer I ordered from, Long Island Shooting Center, is advertising a 30-day delivery time. I'm hopeful that is realistic. They are physically located near the production factory, so maybe they've got some "pull". I'll post the actual delivery time once I receive my R9s.

I ordered mine from Eric Rohrbaugh April 30th. I hope that I beat the rush and will see it before next fall. When I talked to him at the NRA Convention, I examined one of his pistols and saw how well it was made. It felt great in my hand and had a first class trigger pull. I realized then that as soon as Rohrbaugh started getting write ups in the gun magazines they would be impossible to get.

I agree.
Most folks have no idea what a Rohrbaugh is.
They could be even hotter than the seecamp in the mid 80's-90's.
Rohrbaugh is well ahead of the game though, with starting up using CNC machinery.

LOL! When I picked mine up, my FFL, someone who handles firearms all day long, asked me "How do you say this?" So I told him. But when he called it in, he didn't even try to say it, he S-L-O-W-L-Y spelled it out for them, letter by letter. Cracked me up!
It's such a great little pistol, I bet people will start learning all about what it is once the magazine articles start coming out.

Well, I got my "Pup" today, and all I can say is "it's Great!" Have to wait till the weekend to take it to the range but what a sweetie! Thank you Tom Watson from Irish Guard Firearms For getting this baby to me. It was worth the wait! I'll give a range report next week. Now I have to go admire my new pride and joy, # R 935!
