Just a mention - have updated the site with some later stuff - instance the grip tape, the new videos and also the suggestion I made for smoothing parts.
I have received news of an update on the pocket pistol comparison chart - soon I will update that so we have the very latest version to hand - plus hopefully a PDF version.
New pages are as follows -
Grip Tape (http://www.acbsystems.com/boards/rohrbaugh/basefile/griptape.htm)
Takedown and Reassembly Videos (http://www.acbsystems.com/boards/rohrbaugh/basefile/vids.htm)
A Smoothing Proceedure Suggestion (http://www.acbsystems.com/boards/rohrbaugh/basefile/smoothing.htm)

Excellent and very helpful; thank you, Chris!

Chris,
You have no idea how much this is appreciated by all!! ;D 8)
Thank you for everything!! :)

Thanks so much for the work you do, Chris.
It adds greatly to the enjoyment of being an R9 owner.
-
Chris,
Very nice additions to the FAQ area. I've gotten past "R9 Strip & Reassemble anxiety" but the videos should ease the minds of the less adventuresome owners.

Thx gentlemen :) - just glad if any of it helps a few folks.
I did mean to ask tho - as I forget stuff sometimes - if anyone thinks there is some subject we have had on the forum, which I have not added to the site, do kick my a** - I don't want to forget anything salient we may have discussed as a specific.
Hoping soon once I see TW's pics, we can have something to add from that lot too before over long.
-
Just to further add - have just uploaded a refreshed page re the comparison chart on pocket semi's done by THR member Bobo. Marshall is kindly hosting these on http://www.Mouseguns.com/
The page with links for these latest versions (JPG and PDF) is HERE (http://www.acbsystems.com/boards/rohrbaugh/basefile/compared4.htm)

Chris, Your FAQ site is a wealth of information. Videos A1. Thanks for your time and effort. Dan

Dan - thx for the thx. ;)
Just good to know that efforts are appreciated and of some use to a few folks. :)
Looking at the hit count on that small site - it is over 6,000 so - seems like it has had quite a few visitors from all over!! I wonder if even some new members came here after finding it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Had not tried this before but Googling ''Rohrbaugh r9'' - gives me 2nd and 3rd spots with the hits on the FAQ - that may explain it!
-
The only thing I would suggest to add, would be a photo of how the magazine springs should go into the magazine -- it's an easy thing to figure out, but I would have been happy to have had a picture to look at of how they go in.
-
Brad - excellent suggestion!
Just what I need - feedback from folks here with odd things they can think of. I'll get to take a pic or two and get them on the site.
Right now I am working on the set of pics from TW - which he took of Eric doing things on the R9. Trying to make a vid from these.
-
Brad - no time like the present!!! Stopped to take a pic and here it is - I'll get to adding that to the site if it might help anyone later.
Thing to remember is - the ''angle'' of top coil on spring (which IMO is reversible, end to end) - should complement the angle of the inside of the follower.
Further updates today - I have added a page to do with the new video of stills of Eric, the magazine components has a new page and also added some info to try and assist folks wanting to post pics here. If anyone has anything to add re those suggestions, do let me know.
